Sheku Bangura to Unveil Sierra Leone’s 2026 National Budget on Friday
Sierra Leone’s Minister of Finance, Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, is preparing to present the government’s 2026 national budget to Parliament this Friday, November 28.
The presentation, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Parliamentary Chamber, will outline the country’s economic direction and financial priorities for the coming year. It marks one of the most important moments in the nation’s policy calendar, offering insight into how the government plans to manage spending, revenue, and development programmes in 2026.
Government officials, including Cabinet Ministers, their deputies, Vote Controllers, Heads of Departments, State-Owned Enterprises, and representatives from development partners, are expected to attend. Members of the public have also been invited to observe the proceedings.
