According to an official notice signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Barba B. Fortune, the appointments affect the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), and the Sierra Leone National Shipping Agency.

At the NDMA, Mr. John V. Rogers has been appointed as Director General, tasked with guiding the agency’s strategic direction and strengthening its disaster preparedness and response capabilities. Supporting him will be Sulaiman B. Sowa (Esq.), who assumes the role of Deputy Director General.

In the area of social development, Dr. Susan Roberts has been named Deputy Commissioner of NaCSA, where she will contribute to implementing social protection and poverty alleviation programs across the country.

For the Sierra Leone National Shipping Agency, President Bio appointed Mr. Noah Mansaray as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Gideon Gbappy as a Board Member, reflecting the government’s commitment to enhancing oversight and operational transparency within the maritime sector.
